How often do we give up on a defense or an attack, grumbling to ourselves something like:
“oh well, that’s too large to be one of the known dead shapes”
How many groups could I have killed or saved, that I didn’t bother trying, due to such an attitude ?
Consider this situation:
White to Play
Suppose white ataris the single stone inside ? what happens ? White seems to be pushing from behind.
Do the resolute ataris get white anywhere ?
You can send me email telling me what you find.
