2459 (MSN 300) credited with sinking of 3 U-boats. To RCAF as 11022.  Sold

To Canada in 1953 as CF-HHR and later C-FHHR.  Later became N27311.
Now flying in Netherlands as PH-PBY.  Now painted in
Dutch Navy colors with false serial 16-218.  There is a problem with this
identifcation, since 11022 is a Consolidated Canso A with MSN CV-300.  Maybe the
MSN for 2459 is wrong or a wrong tieup is made with MSN CV-300.  
2460 damaged in towing accident on ground 9/14/1944. SOC.
2462 (VP-73) water-looped on landing off Iceland 3/28/1942 and
sank.  
2469 (VP-83) hit Elk Horn Mountain in VA during patrol in
fog 2/16/1942.  7 killed.
2472 (VP-94) crashed off the Para River, near 
Belem, Brazil Nov 28, 1943 during convoy patrol.  10 KIA.
Some wreckage recovered Dec 3, 1943.  Believed crashed during forced landing.
2473 assigned to NAS Anacostia, DC.  Assigned to NACA Langley Memorial Aeronautical Laboratory, 
Langley Field, VA Aug 4, 1945 to Sep 19, 1945.  Assigned to NAS Johnsville, PA. 
2475 (MSN 341, line number 187) to N74692, Nov 1951 to Caribbean International Airways as VP-JAW.  Ditched
on take off from Grand Cayman Jan 2, 1952 (or Jan 3) and salvage abandoned.
2476 (VP-91) water looped at Pearl Harbor and sank 4/5/1942.
2483 (VP-81) flew into water during low-altitude turn
2/23/1942, Oregon Inlet.  Crew killed.
2487 (VP-11) lost 4/5/42 Oahu, Hawaii.  Hit hillside during
letdown south of Makapuu.  Crew killed.
