ownership late 1943 with permanent serial NZ5018. May never have been flown by RNZAF due to deteriorated 
condition when received. To instructional airframe INST 92 at Seagrove on Feb 2, 1944. Later transferred 
to Woodbourne where it remained until about 1951. Probably sold for scrap in the Nelson region at about that time.
06624 (MSN 1439) ditched in Lake Michigan Sep 19, 1943 and salvaged early 1990s.  Under restoration by Air Zoo of
Kalamazoo, Michigan.  Noted Jun 25, 2004 at Kalamazoo Aviation History

flight from San Diego, CA to Norfolk, VA.  Pilot killed.

Dec 16, 1942.  2 killed.  The Koli Point airfield was renamed in the pilot's honour to Carney Field.

1997 was under restoration for USS Lexington Museum, Corpus Christi, TX.
