Jul 1945 and aircraft was returned to US Navy at NAS Norfolk, Virginia Jul 2, 1945. 
Dec 1945 transferred to NAS Patuxent Riverm, MD and used for service tests.  
Donated in 1960 to Smithsonian NASM.  Reported 1976 stored at NASM Silver
Hill, MD.  Now on display at Udvar-Hazy Facility of NASM, Chantilly, Virginia
