What Boeing did was use the old "Day attack" fuselage from 163199, install a Wing from a AV-8B Harrier II+ " Night Attack" aircraft and then 
add in the latest F402-RR-408B Engine which is currently used in the "Night Attack" and "Radar" aircraft. They then used the same BuNo 
163199 for the aircraft. It is currently in service.  With VMAT-203 at NAS Cherry Point
