0369/0371 converted to NC-135A for AEC.  Later
turned over to NASA and then to Air Force Systems Command.
0369 (MSN 18144) served as NC-135A airborne nuclear weapons monitor platform to verify the Nuclear Test
Ban Treaty under Project Rivet Dagger.  Retired to Chanute
and converted to GNC-135A as maintenance trainer for student techicians.  When Chanute closed 
the aircraft was cut in half with the forward fuselage going to Wright Patterson Air Force 
Base as a Fire Training Aid. After reclaim of engines and other parts the remainder of the airframe 
was scrapped on site.
0370 (MSN 18145) served as NC-135A airborne nuclear weapons monitor platform to verify the Nuclear Test
Ban Treaty under Project Rivet Dagger.  To MASDC as CA0005 Jan 30, 1976.  Scrapped at DM

Ban Treaty under Project Rivet Dagger.  Project ‘Have Lace’, experimental laser communications 
program (1985-1986) using two C-135s, 60-0371 & 60-0372; 19 kbit/s link between the aircraft at ranges 
of up to 100 miles.  Fuselage at Kirtland used for fire department training.
0372 (MSN 18147) converted to C-135E, later to EC-135N.  Project ‘Have Lace’, experimental laser 
communications program (1985-1986) using two C-135s, 60-0371 & 60-0372; 19 kbit/s link between the 
aircraft at ranges of up to 100 miles.  Flown to Edwards AFB, CA Mar 17, 2005 to be placed in flyable storage.

0373 (MSN 18148) crashed on takeoff from USMCAS El Toro, CA. Jun 25, 1965.
85 killed.  Cause of accident is unknown.  To all extents and purposes,
the pilots failed to turn the aircraft to avoid rising ground and
just flew straight into it.  
0374 (MSN 18149) converted to EC-135E, later to EC-135N.  Retired Nov 2, 2000
to USAF Museum, Wright Patterson AFB, OH.  Named *Bird of Prey*.
0375 (MSN 18150) converted to EC-135N, later to C-135E.  To AMARC Apr 18, 2001 as CA0129.

0376 (MSN 18151) Project ‘Pacer Journey’ conversion program for C-135A 60-0376 to VC-135A VIP transport, Sep72-May73. 
Converted to C-135E.  To AMARC Jun 21, 2001 as CA0130.

0377 (MSN 18152) used as B-2 avionics flying testbed.  To Edwards AFB Museum, California in 1996.
0378 (MSN 18153) assigned to "Weightless Wonder III" with NASA.  Converted to VC-135A.
