the missile battery and a stupid missile operator. At the start Mozambique officials tried to cover up this fact and the plane
was declared missing. Only when checked, and only at this time did Mozambique officials admit and advise the plane had actually been shot
down by mistake, due to the radio failure of the missile battery.

bursting into flames. 25 out of 41 on board killed. Elevator may have suffered a
structural failure.

erupted at the base of the failed cylinder. Extension of the landing gear and
loss of the right engine led to the aircraft stalling at the height of about
200 ft.
