15030 (356th FS, 360th FS) while trying to escort damaged plane back home to its base in Martlesham, 
but ran out of fuel near Spain, making a forced landing Nov 2, 1944 in a field near Haro Cidamón 
(La Rioja ). The plane was taken to Cuatro Vientos a few days later on a truck because 
of damage. In 1949 it was sent to the scrap. Pilot was released back to England and 
flew again, in 44-11156. He was hit on a Mar 1, 1945 mission over Germany and had to 
bail out, being captured and became POW.
