Transferred to Offutt AFB, Nebraska in 1989, where it was restored and painted
as 42-30230 *Homesick Angel* and put on display as gate guard at the SAC entrance.  Still there
in 2013.

unsuccessful attempts to land, flew into 900-foot hill and caught fire.  12 out of 27 onboard killed.

Trophy Race Sep 5, 1949, pilot Bill Odum lost control and plane crashed inverted
into a residential neighborhood, killing Odum and two people on the ground.
