this plane as going to South Korean AF at some stage.

Mexico in 1948 with a load of weapons bound for the Dominican
Republic.  This plane was operated by a group of Dominican exiles living in
Cuba who wanted to invade the Dominican Republic in 1947-48 and
overthrow the dictator Trujillo.  They formed their own air force,
the Fuerza Aerea del Ejercito de la Revolucion Americana (FAERA).
The plane was confiscated and turned over the Mexican AF
as their first C-46.  As there were no spares, the plane was left out in the open
unused.  Bought by American businessman Zygmut Warren who owned Cables ZETWU which
was based in Mexico City and registered as XB-HUV. After a brief service
in Mexico, bought by Paul Wiesner of Resort Airlines Oct 1951 as N75866. 
Bought Aug 1954 by All American Airways.  Bought Feb 1961 by Aerovias Panama as HP-312.

then Thailand and possibly to India as VT-DYZ for the Indian Government's ARC or Aviation Research Center at 
Charbatia Air Base (“Oak Tree”) in India). While landing at Kindley AFB, Bermuda on Feb. 8, 1968, damaged 
when it possibly had brake failure. It would have run into Castle Harbour, but the tail wheel got caught and 
stopped it going further into the water. On 14th or 15th it was removed from the water for investigation 
by the USAF, and on 16th it was decided to scrap the aircraft. Serviceable parts were removed by 
Southern Air Transport of Miami.  The ARC was created on 7 September 1963 by the Indian Intelligence Bureau 
as a front to coordinate aviation cooperation with the CIA. Its main purpose was to train agents for infiltration 
into Tibet.  Salvaged by Southern Air Transport; fuselage used by the fire department for some years
